    Lorie Karnath - President

    Lorie is the current president of the Global Explorers Alliance, she has an extensive background in the not for profit sector, finance and fundraising. She is a founder and managing editor of Molecular Frontiers Journal, a globally recognized, open access scientific publication produced and distributed by World Scientific, headquartered in Singapore. She is also a founding member of the Molecular Frontiers Foundation, hosted by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. She served as the 37th president of the renowned Explorers Club and has authored numerous books on science and exploration.

  • Mabel L. Pukerson - Treasurer

    Mabel L. Purkerson, M.D. is Professor Emerita of Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. A physician/scientist, nephrologist, her research focus was renal physiology, notably kidney pathophysiology of acute and chronic renal failure utilizing experimental models of renal disease. Professor Purkerson contributed to the university as a clinician, teacher, investigator and administrator. Dedicated to medicine, she personified the physician/scientist role: leading by example, focusing on excellence, always open to new opportunities and techniques. Her research focus was renal physiology, notably kidney pathophysiology and pathophysiology of acute and chronic renal failure utilizing experimental models of renal disease. These achievements led to her becoming the first woman full professor in the Department of Medicine.

  • Xaviere Masson Dziemian - Secretary

    Xavière is the founding director of the World Frontiers Forum. Before launching the WFF in 2017, she led various art institutions and not-for-profits, such as the Cloud ArtScience Foundation in Cambridge, Le Laboratoire in Paris, BK Museum Designs in NYC. She started her career at Harvard University. She is also co-founder of Phase One Exhibits.

  • Gerald Rojek - COO

    Gerald has over 20 years experience in scaling financial operations for businesses and not-for-profit organizations. He has held numerous finance leadership positions within the emerging fields of art, science, and software technologies. He has previously served as Controller at Cloud ArtScience Foundation and Operations Director for Next Breath Global. Gerald is also the founder and principal of Lichen Furniture, a design company that salvages cut-off waste to produce new designer bespoke objects.
